The Forum of Galícia analyzes the digital trends in the area of the education
A nourished group of members and sympathizers of this collective gave appointment in a dinner colloquium, in
the one that the potentiality of the digital resources analyzed in the education of the childhood and of the youth,
like this like the use that is made of the at schools.
The meeting took place the 29 May of 2009, was coordinated by the president of the FEAE of Galícia,
Celestino Pérez, and concerned directors, advisors, inspectors and teaching staff of different stages and levels.
The reports that framed the debate were in charge of José Fariña and Abraham Domínguez, both advisors
of teacher training in New Technologies in Galícia.
José Fariña made a review for the possibilities of formation that the information technologies
and the communication offer. It was related in the different platforms and portals destined to the self-training, that
they produce abundant materials for the teachers; in the nets of social learning; videoconferences, educational television,
mobile telephony, today used already as a resource of learning.
On the other hand, Abraham Domínguez focused its speech on the blogs, of those that he said to be so popular,
that more exhibitionists claim a critical meaning to select and to avoid its utilization with purposes that educational.
Also it referred to the social nets, like FaceBook or MySpace; to GoogleEarth or GoogleMap, and to the simulators,
as video-games, like Second Life or Serius Games.
