ABSTRACT OF THE GENERAL FEAE BOARD MEETING CELEBRATED IN HERVÁS (Càceres).
On the 27 of June of 2009, in the halls of the Synagogue Hotel of Hervás (Càceres), representatives
of almost all the Spanish Regional Forums made the ordinary meeting of the General Board in which they assisted the
Presidency Team.
After fulfilling the three years of the statutory period, the cessation of the Board of Directors was produced.
For this reason, Pedro Navareño, Marcelino Díaz, and Mª Rosario Moreno, president, treasurer and
secretary respectively, they wanted to see off sharing the lovely landscape of its earth, the singular local colour
of these villages, with all of them and all of them besides its rich gastronomy.
Of the session of the Board it is necessary to highlight the presentation of the Report - Memory of the
mandate: May 2006 - June 2009, brought up by the different members of the outgoing Team, like this like the Project
shown by the candidate to next President Josep Serentill, which it wanted to highlight and recognized the commendable
work of the outgoing Board, recognition that all assistants were added to.
After the presentation of the general lines of the Project and of the members of the new Board, the resulting poll was proceeded a unanimous support. The Board has come off constituted like this:
- President: Josep Serentill. Forum of Catalonia.
- Vice president: Santiago Estañán. Forum of Valencia
- Secretary: José Mª Vera. Forum of Catalonia.
- Treasurer: Choir Regí. Forum of Catalonia.
- Vowel 1: Manuel Armas. Forum de Galícia.
- Vowel 2: Avelino Sarasúa. Forum of Madrid.
- Director of the Magazine O.G.E: Nélida Zaitegui. Forum of Basc Country
- Correspondent: Xavier Chavarría. Forum of Catalonia
The new President, in the name of all its Team, thanked the support of the assistants and brought up its project
like a collective project, open to the contributions and suggestions which he expects to receive of the different Regional
Forums.
Once all the points of the agenda were quite a lot of treaties and discussed it happened for being finished
the meeting of the General Board.
But the end of the day of work it gave step to the cultural, touristic and gastronomic program that the colleagues
of Càceres had prepared, convinced the importance to promote affective bows among the different members, how it goes
being usual in the different activities of the Spanish Forum.
After the food a cultural visit to the roman ruins of accompanied CÁPARRA of an expert, the vice president of
the Forum of Extremadura Victoria Rodrigo, that illustrated the visit with its usual friendliness, but with great historical
rigor had been organized.
From Cáparra we continued journey to GRANADILLA, a village that came off isolated in the sixties, where
students of all countries participate in the "Program of Recovery and Educational Utilization of Abandoned Villages".
Chema Curiel presented, the educational experience.
The Day ended with a friendly dinner in a typical inn of Hervás that allowed, not only to taste and to
relish the rich regional cooking, but fundamentally to pass relatives and accompanying friends a formidable and fun soiree
that they incorporated into.
The professional and personal enrichment that the Forum provides, was brought to light once again.
