IV INTERFORUM MEETING IN PALMA DE MALLORCA

On Saturday 16 May of 2009, IV Meeting of the Forums of the former Aragon Crown was celebrated in Palma de Mallorca. The event took place in the Cultural Hall of the savings bank "Sa Nostra".

On this occasion the Aragon, Catalonia and Valencia Forums were present. In this case, the Balearic Forum was the host.

The activity focused on a round table and a panel, where exchanges were established and is made reflect on a subject of present in the world educational "The basic competences, from the institutional frame to the good practices at school level", for the curricular development.

Xavier Chavarria from Catalonia Forum began with the report "The evaluation of the competences", also from Catalonia, Isabel Sánchez, head of Agora School of Barcelona, presented "A competence activity in a primary school".

Amparo Laliga from Valencia Forum, talked about "The Kagan structures of co-operative learning and the basic competences". On behalf of Balearic Forum, the head of S'Hort des Fassers School of Alcúdia, set forth the experience "Towards the organisational competencies: decisions".

On the other hand, the person responsible for the service of the general direction of Ordering of the ministry of Education and Culture of the Balearic Islands, it showed the situation in that the implantation of the basic competences is found in the Balearic Islands. To go the act, the president of the Balearic Forum, spoke about "evaluating to teach or teaching to evaluate diagnostic evaluation 2009". Among the reports a friendly "Coffee break" took place.

Aside of the reflections that the assistants made environment to the formation, the goal "To enjoy a day of inter-territorial communal life" also looked for time to attain.

The forum members, made a historical brief itinerary for the city, until Majorca's cathedral, pioneered in year 1240, where the Dean father Joan Darder offered us a visit documented visit, about the works of Gaudí and the Resurrection's chapel of Miquel Barceló, offering every class of details. We finished the sharing day with a table of Majorca's gastronomy.
